“A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance…” Ecclesiastes 3: 2-4
Your season is starting to change. You’re about to receive a blessing but are you ready for it? Have you prepared your soil to produce your harvest? Are there weeds that need to be destroyed and uprooted? Are there broken plants that need extra care and healing? Are there fences that need to be mended?
During the transition from one season to another, there is a lot of work to be done. It’s time to prepare your soil with the Word of God. It’s time to spend consistent, quality time with Him. That means not only talking to Him but listening to Him as well. It’s time to uproot bad habits and attitudes. It’s time to let go of the anger, bitterness and fear that we’ve been holding on to. It’s time to receive healing for past hurts. It’s time to take a look at our relationships. Are we holding on to unhealthy or dead relationships and neglecting the healthy, loving ones? It’s time to forgive not only other people but it’s time to forgive ourselves. It’s time to rebuild the fences that we have neglected. Fences that we have built to protect our minds and our hearts from the negative images, thoughts and people that surround us on a daily basis.
Last but not least, it’s time to stay in praise. When God sees you through this struggle, He has a magnificent blessing waiting for you.
This is awesome!
